While prosecutor, Molinelli helped the center launch the Recovery Coach Academy, made up of volunteer coaches and others in long-term recovery who go to area hospitals to support opioid overdose survivors revived by Narcan.
The center is training the coaches and working closely with Acting Bergen County Prosecutor Gurbir S. Grewal to "build on Molinelli’s vision and implement the program and coordinate efforts with emergency services and area hospitals," Communications Director Sheila Riccardi said.
Molinelli "worked tirelessly to help fight against the crisis of heroin addiction in our community,” said Jerry Binney, president and chief executive officer of Children’s Aid and Family Services. “We are so grateful for his continued support and strong belief in the Recovery Coach Academy.”
Molinelli, who earned Woodcliff Lake's John F. Kennedy Award, is now a partner in the Price, Meese, Shulman & D’Arminio law firm.
